- Why were the DOCit Notebooks created?
- The organization of these medical notebooks began, as I became a caregiver for my Mother. She needed someone to take her to doctor appointments, keep track of all the medical information including her medications, tests, reports, follow-ups, insurance billings, payments, and in general, all of her health care. I began.
- How can they help?
- Since completion, one woman told me "you have saved my life". She explained that the organizers have helped relieve the stress she had during a major illness of her Fathers and that she wanted one for each member of her family. Doctors of all specialties love them. They always tell me they wish many of their patients had them because they feel it would not only help their patients but it makes getting the correct information from the patient much easier.
